the Palms

Over the years I've become a fan of Bob Ross

and his happy trees. The trees that make me the happiest are palm trees. These palms are wrapped in custom hand made oak frames. Enjoy some happy trees!

About the Artist

Background

Michael Clineman studied scenic design and lighting at Florida State University’s School of Theater. After work on several films, commercials and television shows, he accepted a full-time position with Nickelodeon Studios Art Department. Years later, a part time gig at the House of Blues turned into a twenty year career in the live music industry.

An avid surfer and scuba diver, Michael has traveled the world touring with several well known rock bands and managed some of the top concert venues in the country. He hates wearing shoes and owns more wetsuits than business suits. His style is influenced by Mary Blair, Peter Max, Rob Wyland and Bob Ross. Whenever possible, Michael uses recycled and reclaimed materials in his works. His desire to create art is fueled by a love of nature and a respect for the world’s oceans.
